Duo Test Lab
A one-file Node CLI that guides you through outer, inner, fold and Split View checkpoints and captures Simulator screenshots plus a JSON manifest.
Requirements
- macOS with Xcode 27.1 / Device Hub and the Duo runtime
- Node.js 20+
- A booted iPhone Duo simulator
Run it
- Download duo-test-lab.mjs
- Start the iPhone Duo simulator in Device Hub.
- Run the CLI from Terminal:
node duo-test-lab.mjs --device "iPhone Duo" --output ./duo-evidenceThe CLI asks you to set each pose, then asks for the actual display ID from screen enumeration before capturing a PNG. Skip a checkpoint by typing s. The output directory contains screenshots, a private manifest.json, and separate content-free usage-counts.json.
What it does not do
It does not claim a private or undocumented API for automatically folding or repositioning iPhone Duo. It does not upload screenshots, Simulator identifiers or local paths.
Real Duo runtime validation is pending. Capture means an image was saved, not that the layout passed. Existing output directories are rejected to protect prior evidence.
